He is also actively involved in the industry trade shows via speaking, attending and exhibiting. He has also written articles for the industry magazines and blogs on topics that include marketing, social media, the personalization market, sublimation and garment decorating techniques. Vik Patel is a proven sales and marketing director, with more than 20 years of international experience and 10 years within the product decorating industry. As the Director of Marketing and Global Business Development at Sawgrass in Charleston, SC, Vik uses a methodical, data-driven approach for the strategic development of new markets. He has a degree in Chemistry and Business Administration from the University of Kingston, London and has an Executive MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. In his free time, you can catch him at places like the Charleston Food & Wine Festival running his pop-up food business specializing in spicy, hot-off-the-grill “Fire Chicken.”

Richard Zydonik is Chief Commercial Officer for Rowmark, LLC. He is responsible for business development in new regions and new markets, as well as sales for the Global Rowmark engravables division. Rich has been with the company since 2000 and has served as the VP of Sales and Marketing for much of that time. Prior to working at Rowmark, Rich spent over fifteen years working for the founding manufacturers of rotary & laser engraving systems in several capacities, including operations management, worldwide sales and general management. He is largely responsible for bringing new and exciting products to the market, both to sublimate and to laser.
Rich has written columns for the Awards & Engraving Magazine (A&E) and has also authored “The Engravers Bible,” the definitive text for engravers. Rich is active on several industry marketing and educational boards and formerly served as President of the Awards and Recognition Association, serving 4,000 members. Rich is active in the Findlay community. He served for eleven years on the Board of Directors and as President in 2007 for the Children’s Mentoring Connection (CMC). CMC serves “at risk” children of Hancock County. Rich now serves on the CMC Foundation and actively supports a number of other local charities and non-profit organizations including the Conventions & Visitors Bureau. Rich lives in Findlay, Ohio with his wife Laurie.
Karen Schulz is a designer of digital scrapbook kits and is passionate about all things Photoshop. She designs digital products for both personal and commercial use. Her style is a mixture of realistic, shabby, and artsy, which makes her digital kits unique and versatile. Karen loves sharing her knowledge with others and teaches on a monthly online subscription based program. She also writes weekly Photoshop tutorials for her blog, posts You Tube educational videos, and has been a presenter at creativeLive.
Roger Wambolt's career is the culmination of 24 years in graphic design and education. It began in the trenches at Corel, where Roger provided user support, training and championed Corel's partner programs. Over the years, he acquired extensive knowledge through his relationships with graphics professionals in many industries, including print, sublimation, screen printing, sign making, engraving, and embroidery.
A CorelDRAW Graphics Suite expert, Roger has been a popular presenter at industry trade shows. He has developed and conducted classroom training and online sessions throughout North America and has authored articles for key industry magazines, including SQE Professional, The Screen Printers Resource Guide and is a regular contributor to Trophex magazine. Tony’s passion for photography goes back to 1970s when he got his first 35mm camera. Tony has an MBA in Management and International Business and studied photography under many world class photographers. His photographic experience includes; wedding, portraiture, commercial, model portfolios and product photography. He thought adult photo enthusiasts in NJ and PA and to do so effectively he wrote a textbook; Guide to Digital SLR Photography. The book is based on the input from students and the content focuses on what they wanted to learn; practical techniques for better digital pictures, the book is available on Amazon.com. Tony is a past member Professional Photographers of America, North East Pennsylvania Professional Photographers and NJ Professional Photographers.
Erika is a maverick of licensing and product development. With a background in Industrial Design and Retail Buying and Management, Erika has found her calling with High Cotton Gifts. She first fell in love with the High Cotton Brand when their hilarious gift products were sold at her parents Ace Hardware Store (where she worked as a teen). She had no idea that years later, she would carry on the legacy of High Cotton Gifts, proudly produced in the USA for 30 years.
Jared Hoch, BASI, is ASI’s executive director of business development. With over 15 years of experience in the print, merchandising and promotional products industry, he brings great knowledge of how to increase sales by using multichannel approaches.
